Olympic inspired art

The opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics featured some inspiring creative interpretation. From the demonstration of 50 different sports in the form of pictograms, to the drone display in the sky - Japanese creativity and innovation was beautifully presented to the world.

Japanese artist Tatsuya Tanaka has created Olympic themed miniature art. Tanaka has been making daily scenes from household objects for almost a decade. His ongoing Miniature Calendar series showcases the artist’s boundless imagination.
